/ Home / The Project Fund / Types of activities

The Project Fund gives support to four different types of activities:

    • Appraisals (max budget approximately € 8.600- 10.600.) Closing project formulation is a funding opportunity targeted towards associations who need to finish projects in proposal already well on its way.

    • Partnership activity (max. budget approximately € 67.000) its purpose is to strengthen the cooperation with the local partner or/and to strengthen the partners professional and organisational capacity and network.

    • Minor development project (max. budget approximately € 67.000) particularly aimed at first time applicants who want to start actual development projects but also aimed at experienced applicants who will experiment, test new ideas or work in new countries.

    • Larger development projects (budget between approximately € 67.000 and 400.000) supports experienced and very experienced organisations development projects.

    Long term co-operation

If the time horizon is considered long in order for a project to realize its full potential a division of the project into several phases should be considered. This might also induce a capacity analysis of the organisation.

Greater funding is met by greater demands
An association can apply for greater funding as their experience correspondingly increases. As the amounts solicited for rise so does the demands in relation to the projects professional quality and sustainability, the strategic thinking and the professional and organisational capacity. This concerns the association as well as their local partner. The demands rise in accordance with the total budget and with the amount one wishes to spend per year.

If development projects are initiated for the first time (having a project budget of less than € 67.000), the demands are more flexible in relation to the projects strategy and details.

    Please read the guidelines carefully
Before the Danish partner applies for money through PATC they should have a thorough grasp of the different types of applications and demands the association and their partner must comply with in order to get funds.
